September 21 1817: Peter Littlejohn in Balfedie and his wife Janet Burnett had a daughter baptised named Christian before the congregation.
Feby 16 1847: Christian Littlejohn in Glencatt unmarried woman had a bastard child baptised by Mr Millar. The father was Peter Begg servant at Balfour.

Death Certificate (Aboyne #17) states that Elizabeth Knox married to James Knox, pauper and formerly a shoemaker died 17 Nov 1869 at the Poorhouses Aboyne. She was aged 75 years of age. Her parents are given as James Frain labourer (decd) and Emily Copland. The informant was her husband James.
(Old Machar #668) James died on the 14th September 1874 at Old Machar Poorhouse. His parents are given as James Knox, general merchant (decd) and Helen Knox previously Low m.s. Alexander. Parents of John Milne are given as Robert Milne, gamekeeper and Elizabeth Milne m.s. Irvine. Parents of Margaret Harper were Robert Harper farmer and Barbara Harper m.s. Low.
According to the 1881 census this family resided in Kerry Ireland from about 1865 - 1872 when 5 of their children were born.
A stone in St Mary's Aboyne reads: Erected by JOHN I MILNE in memory of his wife MARGARET HARPER d. 21 May 1904 aged 65; his dau LOUIE d. 28 June 1899 aged 19. Above JOHN I MILNE road surveyor Aboyne d. 2 Jan 1913 aged 77. (RHS) of their family WILLIAM JAMES d. Aberdeen 4 June 1915 aged 38, ELIZABETH d. Cordoba, Argentina 6 Sept 1916 aged 53; MARGARET d. Consett, Durham 30 Nov 1921 aged 51.

March 12 1833: Hugh Michie Tailor, Powlair and his wife Christn Malcolm had a child baptised named Isabella. Witnesses Geo Ross in Powlair and David Thaw Ennachy.
March 17 1840: Hugh Michie tailor, Balnaboth and his wife Christian Malcolm had a son baptised Robert.
April 15 1850: Hugh Michie in Belnaboth and his wife Christian Malcolm had a son baptised named Francis before diet of catechising at Belnaboth.
Hugh Michie is listed on the 1841 census for Birse at Bankhead aged 40. He is the son of Alexander Michie in Balnaboth who was baptised 30 June 1799. The List of Inhabitants for 1801 shows Hugh Michie with parents Alexander Michie and Elizabeth Ogg.
Hugh Michie's death certificate (Birse #17) states he was a tailor married to Christian Malcolm. He died 11 Aug 1871 at Balnaboth aged 72 years. Parents given as Alexander Michie and Elizabeth Hogg. His widow Christian Malcolm signed as informant with her mark.
Christian Malcolm's death certificate (Coull #10) states she was widow of Hugh Michie Tailor. She died at Nether Tillylair 29 July 1894. Her parents are given as William Malcolm and Jane Turner (both deceased). Cause of death was senility and the informant was her grandson William Christie.

There are a number of Elizabeth Harper's in Birse born about 1800 however this one best suits the age given in the census.
May 11 1800: James Harper in Murly had a daughter baptised named Elizabeth. Witnesses the congregation.
