All register entries where given are from Birse Parish Registers. I have added additional information where I can find it.
My previous research leads me to believe that where a surname appears more than once there can be a family connection.
Ages are in decades: 1 = under 10; 2 = under 20; 3 = under 30 etc
by Hugh Cochran BA (Oxon), LLB (Edin), BA (Abdn), FSA Scot.
Family groups residing at kinminity are as follows:

Isabel Aitken (8) widow
John Malcolm (5)
Proof is lacking however Isabel Aitken may be the widowed mother of John Malcolm. John and Alexander may also be brothers given the proximity of the family grouping.
Geo Low, widower (5)
Margt Davie (2)
Geo Ewan (2)
Janet Low (1)
1789 July 19 Contracted George Low and Jean Middleton both in this parish and after were married August 6th
1790 May 20 George Low in Kinmunnity a daughter named Jannet. Witnesses Robert Bain and Francis Watt.
.
Because the grouping is given as such, it is hard to decide whether Margaret Davie and George Ewen are servants of George Low. It appears that George did marry Jean Middleton (they are given as a couple on the 1789 listing) but that Jean died soon after the birth of their daughter Janet in 1790.
Did George remarry?
1792 July 29 Contracted George Low and Helen Alexander both in this parish and after were married September 6th.
1793 June 13 George Low in Kinmunnity a son named George. Witnesses Robert Bain and John Dinny
At Kinminity on the 1794 listing there is a Helen Alexander grouped with children Janet Low and George Low both under 7.
Margaret Nicol (5)

John Dinnie (3) Jas Dinnie (1) Isabel Dinnie (3) and Agness Dinnie (2)
Robert Bain (6) married to Isabel Strachan (6)
George Bain (3), Jean Bain (3), Eliz Bain (3)
There is a Robert Bain having a daughter baptised at Drumneachie. This may be the same Robert Bain.
1773 March 19: Robert Bain in Drumneachie had a daughter baptised named Elizabeth. Witnesses the congregation.
Robert is deceased by 1805 according to the following parish register entry:
1805 September 6: Contracted David Middleton presently parochial schoolmaster at Birse with Jean Bain lawful daughter to the deceased Robert Bain late in Kinmunnity and after regular proclamations and no objections made married 5th October.
Margaret Thow (7)
James Middleton (7)
Mary Middleton (7)
Elizabeth Miln (2)
There is no indication on the list that James and Mary are married. It is possible they could be siblings.
Jo Sim (5) married to Margt Alexander (5)
Euph Sim (2), Helen Sim (2), Alexr Sim (10 George Sim (1) William Sim (1)
Fras Watt (5) married to Ann Malcolm (5)
Wm Watt (2), Jas Watt (2), Fras Watt (2) Ann Watt (1) Kenneth Watt (1) George Watt (1) Lewis Watt (1)
(David away)
From parish registers it would appear that the children of Francis Watt and Ann Malcolm were born at Starrypools and Oldieleiper.
( I have more information on the family of Francis's son George Watt and his wife Jean Ross born Easter Clune 1789. Please contact me if you would like more information)
William Dinnie (5) married to Isabel Will (5)
Children: Jean Dinnie (2), John Dinnie (2) and Margaret Dinnie (1)
See Gordon Dinnie's website for more information on this family and the family of Francis Dinnie and Margaret Ogg above.
Elizabeth Low - widow - no age given.
Isabel Aitken (4)
John Aitken (8) married to Jean Middleton (7)
Jean Harper (6) widow
Fras Ley (3) and Margaret Ley (3)
This family is there at the beginning of the listings (1789) however spouse of Jean Harper is deceased prior to this date. One would assume that Jean Harper was married to a Ley.
